I am eternally
thankful and grateful to God for His Gift of Song in my heart. I am
confident in Him yet deeply humbled and know that when I sing I
completely rely on Him. Singing has afforded me many great
opportunities over the years. I have traveled the Country (including
The Bahamas) singing, performing in stage plays and working in
television. Having received the opportunity to sing with Barry
Manilow, I have met and collaborated with some really incredible
people. Singing and Music is my passion. When I sing it touches me
before it reaches others. Feeling and believing the music and lyrics
intensifies the delivery for me. When I am in the studio singing, I
am so refreshed and reminded of the presence of God and how much I
love Him. It is easy for me to become caught up in my music for
hours and hours.
I come from a very musically talented family (The Ritchie Family).
We are a very close yet witty bunch of people. We love to laugh and
have fun when we are together. Music is our passion, collectively.
However we recently suffered a huge loss, Our Mother, Lucille
Ritchie. She is missed enormously but in my
heart I know I will see her later. My family and I wishes to thank
everyone near and abroad that loved and embraced us during that
difficult time. Your prayers and support meant a lot. My Dad,
Bishop Donald Ritchie is one of the strongest men I know and is
doing great.
I am excited about where I've been, where I am now and where I'm
going. I am very optimistic and if you want to see and hear me
in action, just give me a good song with meaningful, strong lyrics
and you will get me, your girl, Donna Ritchie. All that I am and
ever hope to be, I owe it ALL to Him (Jesus Christ); To God be the
Glory, forever.
